People, we are getting no where fast. The government appeases us with

a committee meeting every so often, but nothing comes from them and

nothing will. I have been ill for 28 years and I am tired of being

labeled " fatigued " . I just read an email on Co-Cure from Tom

Hennessey Jr about filing class-action lawsuits and I hope to be

first in line. PWME need to use what little resources they have. Most

of us have little money and energy. I had hoped that

Hillenbrand coming out and her meeting Mr & Mrs Bush might help our

cause. At her Washington D.C. Seabiscuit showing, Kim Kenney of the

CAA was there so I thought maybe the CAA would ask her to get more

involved, but apparently not. Surely someone with ME knows and

could get her to help us in this fight. It looks like a fight to me

just to get recognized as a real illness and do away with the F word.

There are a lot of PWME's in the USA and somehow we need to be better

organized and demand research money. The NCF tells me that they are

$61k from being able to prove one of the culprits of ME. Shit, I saw

on TV where our government has spent over $600 million redoing dams

so they don't kill endangered Salmon!! Salmon's are worth more than

we are. I feel endangered myself! I wished I could give the NCF the

$61k and say now put up or shut up but that is a lot of money to me

but probably not much for someone like Hillenbrand.

I am not smart enough or a leader but I hope Tom can get some

attornies to file class-action lawsuits for us. I think of all the

doctors that told me it was all in my head yet they keep making their

money. I am mad and want to do something to fight back. I don't know

how. There was a woman who wanted to collect names of all the PWME's

and try to organize us. Hell, I moved to Brownsville, Texas and there

on the front page of the local newspaper was Texas Senator Kay

Hutchison with the texas Senator for this region and they had

allocated over $600 million to start interstate 69, which would one

day go from here to Canada. This outrages me. I want my health

back!!! I don't need some damn highway, I need to feel like a human

again and go back to work before I die. We need to do more than ask

each other if we have tried fish oil! This illness can not be that

complicated if they would just put some real money toward solving it.

Hell, I would rather have AIDS and at least know that there is an end

soon. Also my family would know I was really ill, instead they think

I am faking it to draw disability. that is sad and so hurtful.

I think a place to start would be to try to get ahold of

Hillenbrand and let her know of our real fight. Somehow the CAA got

ahold of her first and I just don't believe the CAA wants a cure and

lose their jobs. I wish I could sit down with Ms Hillendbrand for one

hour and talk to her about our cause and where we need to fight. I

heard Mrs Bush really likes her. Maybe that would be a start if she

used that connection in the right way.

Hell, I am just mad and rambling but I am serious that we need to get

mad and do something besides hoping someone on one of these list is

going to give us the cure.
