Guest guest
Afrienne, I could send you a pill. The only problem I noticed is that it is processed with corn, to which I am very allergic. I took it anyway and got a big stomachache. (I assumed it was the corn) I spoke to Bill Chick, the man who sells it, and he said that it would be too much work to change their processing to remove the binding ingredients. Back channel me with your address and I will put one in an envelope. > Recently I wrote to Judith " > > " I am wanting to start on Isoprinosine. Guest guest
Hi Adrienne, I can send you some Isoprinosine but am in London, England and we have a mail strike right now and it make take a few weeks to get to you. Let me know if you can't get some from a more reliable and closer source and I will send it to you. Please let me know your address off-list. Although I can tolerate it other people have reported stomach problems, headaches and an increase in viral symptoms. With kindest regards, Annette annette_barclayuk@... ________________________________________________________________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends? Guest guest
Adrienne, I took isoprinosine about two years ago for two months using Cheney's pulsing method. It made me much worse, a relapse really to earlier phases of the illness -- and it took me about 2 months to recover to my " old " level. I'd read it was fairly mild, didn't have side effects, and the biggest risk was that it would do nothing. I don't, unfortunately, no any tests or signs that are predictors of doing well on it. I still have one unopened bottle that's I think 1.5 years old. michael Recently I wrote to Judith " > > > " I am wanting to start on Isoprinosine. Guest guest
Adrienne, Here's my Isophrinosine experience, which you should keep in mind. I first took ISO about 15 years ago, and I was following the AIDS protocol then, 3000 mg a day for a month or two(?, can't remember for sure). I took it on at least 10 different occasions over the next 5 years. I credit the first usage with bringing my level of symptoms down a couple of levels, including getting rid of a 3 year sore throat that I'd had since the beginning of CFIDS. After the first times I found that the only real noticiable effect I had from taking it was that 2 or 3 days later I would get stronger physically. I'm lucky to be able to exercise moderately, I swim and it almost always makes me feel better (oxygenates my body???). But my swims are on the weak side (I used to be a surfer and was once very strong, B.C.) It was noticiable that after I'd take the ISO I would be twice as strong for a week or so. That effect would only appear if there was a period of months between the ISO usage. About the 10th time or so I had a real bad experience and became much sicker, with a lot of symptoms returning and not subsiding over time. I'd had a number of EBV antibody panels before this and had one a few months after this worsening. The interesting thing was that for the first time I showed antibodies of the EBV IGM class. From what I've read the IGM test only shows positive when you have active Epstein Barr Virus in your blood. Isophrinosine is promoted as an immune boosting substance but it's actually an immunemodulator, and if I understand this correctly that means it can booster your immune system under certain circumstances, and suppress it under others. Around that time I had also read a letter in a medical journal, ls of Internal Medicine I believe, where a doctor was reporting of an immune suppression case caused by the use of Isophrinosine. Putting two and two together, especially because of the positive EBV IGM test, I concluded that I was suffering from an unwanted suppression of my immune system(or parts of it anyhow) and my own personal EBV was loose. Six months later with no sign of any abatement of these increased symptoms I decided the only thing to do was to try Isophrinosine again, in smaller quantity. I did this, taking 1000mg a day for a month or two and that seemed to work, the symptoms lessened over the next year or two, although one of them that I called " throat nausea " (caused by the adrenaline rush I'd get whenever I was late for something, which was/is quite often) stayed with me for years after that, and I probably still get it but not enough to remember the last time. Since Isophrinosine has become so popular recently, I just started taking it again but cautiously, only taking one 500mg pill a day and following the on/off protocal. It still gives me increased strength occasionally but only if I haven't taken it for several months. That's my story, not trying to discourage you at all, but just to let you and everyone know that this stuff is not candy and even though I can't prove it caused the situation I just wrote about, you have to consider the possibility. I was taking Piracetan, very high Vit C(40 grams/ day), and one other substance at the same time so it might have been the combination, who knows? Just remember it's an immune modulator so it can push your system to the other side of the bell shaped curve. I need one dose of Isoprinosine, please. > Recently I wrote to Judith " > > " I am wanting to start on Isoprinosine. Am wondering if you have any and > could you send me a sample before I invest? Guest guest
, Certainly a mixed experience you had. I will keep it in mind. I am still considering the instructions I found here on combining inosine w. PABA instead. And i will have any of it muscle tested before I take any. Guest guest
, Hi. I am trying to clean upmy email, and came across this note from you. First of all, thanks for the warning. Secondly, would you like to sell me that unopened bottle- presuming it has an expiration date on it? I sure would like to get a sample before I invest in a bunch- and I am still having trouble getting my doc to sign off on it. Even if it is a little past expiration, I would be interested. Thanks, Adrienne Re: I need one dose of Isoprinosine, please. Adrienne, I took isoprinosine about two years ago for two months using Cheney's pulsing method.
