Glutathione nebulizer or suppositories

I have just tried some Glutithione IV once a week for 2 weeks now. 500 mg. I

just gave myself an IM gluthione shot. It was only 500 mg of it in 2.5 CC

The shot did not hurt at first but now is getting increasingly painful at

the site.

I get a Gamma Globulin IV every week anyway so I get the IV push before that

with the same needle site.

I am going to up my dosage next week to 2,000 mg of Glutithione once a week.

10 CC of the 200 mg per ml.

I hope it makes a difference in my health.

I wanted to find out if anyone has used the glutithione by suppository. I do

not think I want to give myself the shots twice a week if I can avoid it. I

heard from a Pharmicist & my Doctor that it did not work as well as the IV or

IM because it did not get into the system well enough, that it was better for

local lung or sinus infections or problems.

That is all the info I have at this point.

Anyone have info on Glutithione suppositories?

My Dr. & the Drs. around here dealing with CFIDS seem to use it & my Nurse

says she does a lot of the IV's & shots & it seems safe at high dosages for

everyone in her experience. I just did a 10 CC IV push today before my GG IV.

that

is 20,000 mg.

That is really not a lot as far as local Rx dosages seem to go. My Dr. says

that amount a week is fine for now & I will have to see if it helps me or I

need to do a lower dose 3 X a week or increase the amount.

Hard to tell about anything yet because I went out yesterday & am still

recovering from that.

I have a phone appt tomorrow & can ask her for more info.

Hi:

I don't have the answer to your question but am wondering how hard

was it to convince your doctor to try such a high dose; is there in

literature on such a dose?

Good luck with the glutathione.

thank you in advance

Hi Lea,

I talked with my Dr. today & she said that she is going to talk with an East

Coast Colleague about this for more details. Supposedly Glutihion by

nebulizer helped some patinets with Environmental allergies. So I am very

interested

in that.

I will let you know as soon as she gets back to me.

She did say I could up my dosage of the Glutithion by IM if I felt I needed

it.

Any information about those types of dosages would be very much

appreciated.

Thank you for your help.
