Guest guest
Original Kombucha (OK) Listok, I'm wondering if I've been leaving out a step. Someone said that after bottling the Kombuch (after 1 week's brewing time) they then leave the bottles out on the counter a few days more. Is this commonly done? Also, has anyone tried the wood KT maker for continuous brewing? May I suggest that people trim their posts so we don't have to keep scrolling past the same post over and over? To do that, before you start typing your reply, either highlight all the other posts and hit delete, or right click and hit 'select all' and then hit delete. Thanks for all the great information on this site, Carla

Carla, Yes, I must be very common ;-) as I do it all the time. In fact, I never even put my bottles in the fridge, just a cool place. > Also, has anyone tried the wood KT maker for continuous brewing? Never even heard about such a thing. I can imagine that it could work well - just used for kombucha, as wood would be natural and absorbent. Wood is a very ancient material for brewing containers, e.g. barrels for beer, wine and whisk(e)y... Have you got an internet link to look at one? > May I suggest that people trim their posts .... Oh yes, Ho-hum, that is a common thorn in the side ;-) It's very seldom that I post a previous post again in all its glory ... only if I think it's a MUST read and some might have missed it, but other wise SNIP! most kombuchaly, Margret:-) UK -- +------------------ Minstrel@... --------------------+ <)))<>< http://www.therpc.f9.co.uk <)))<>< http://www.AnswersInGenesis.com +----------------- http://www.Gotquestions.org ------------------+ 'Because he loves me, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.'
