Australian sources for hydroxy/methyl B12

Hi,

Just to let you know injectable hydroxycobalamin B12 is available in Australia.

Here it is called Neo-cytamen 1000 Injection and is listed as hydroxocobalamin.

You get 2 ampoules per pack via prescription. It is available on PBS for

AU$3.70. I had an injection yesterday and feel better for it.

For methylcobalamin B12, Rainbow Pharmaceutical & Health in carry

Thorne products, including Methylcobalamin 1000mcg capsules, or Methyl-Guard

which was recommended by my dr. and contains 400mcg methyl B12 plus 400mcg

folate, 6.8mg B6, and 600mg betaine. I have not tried these myself and note

they are capsules, not the usual sublinguals. Anybody care to comment on

whether this makes much difference to the results?
