GHB used to be available in healthfood stores. One can read more about it at

www.ceri.com. It is not as safe as you may think though if all you do is

read internet articles. I actually used to have the precursors before they

became illegal after researching GHB and its good sleep effects and growth

hormone effects (back when I was still working out but still not sleeping

good=perfect drug). My dad started liking it too as he has problems

sleeping. One precursor made him dizzy (GBL I think) and the other one was

longer lasting and made one feel more social, like having a few beers, but

w/o slurred speach--I can see why this stuff used to be so popular now.

Anyway, my dad took too much of the " better " one and woke up vomating and

said he thought he was going to die--I tell you, it was VERY scary experience

not knowing whether or not to call ambulance--and my dad had no idea this

would happen. Well, a friend tried some and gave it to his friends and they

all loved it but when they gave it to two girls one girl ended up in the

emergency room while the other one turned white, passed out and actually

stopped breathing and was revived via CPR. Needless to say she wasn't happy

when she woke up. Why it had different effect on women than guys I don't

know but I can see why the media tarnished it with the lable " Date Rape Drug "

as my friend agreed it could very well be used for that. I am not for

illegalization of drugs and so I think prescription form is where this

belongs but for them to charge hundreds a month for something that cost

pennies is ludicrous. It's over 99% pure profit! Meanwhile some CFSers

might benefit from getting some restorative deep stage sleep along with GH

stimulation.
