Ron,

I think someone was indirectly raising the question the other day of

whether taking calcium could be appropriate if there is calcification of

soft tissues.

It has been known for decades that calcification is caused by excess

phosphates or vitamin D or both. Otherwise, excess calcium is readily

excreted.

Although I have known this as a theory from the start, it wasn't until I

found out that Dr St Amand had been telling his patients all along to take

calcium to help get rid of calphos deposits that I was brave enough to try

it and it worked!

The problem is really linguistic. Calcification is an accumulation of

calcium phosphate. If it was called phosphication, no-one would have a

problem.

While writing, perhaps I could just repeat that I am not claiming any

insights into tackling fluorosis, though calcium is said to help rid the

body of metals, for what that's worth.
