Guest guest
, he was concerned about the gut, but I had 4+ (heavy growth) of either acinetobacter or citrobacter (had both at different times) that were only sensitive to antibiotics and he was very against antibiotics. Both times, I had a good month after antibiotic treatment - but it didn't last! In retrospect, I think you can pretty much do amino acid supplementation on your own - take very large amounts of what you're lacking as well as the other supplements that you're low in ( I was very low in magnesium - which I had been taking for years, but that improved when I switched to mag glycinate and - and in pyridoxal 5-phosphate - a form of B6. I continue to take a high grade protein powder most days - years ago I had good success with Immunocal but that also only lasted a month or so. As so many folks on this list have been saying lately, I think it's crucial to have a healthy gut. Deb
