Just asking because it really seems, after doing some reading on some of the boards, that most of the people who are helped by bee therapy are the people who have a " systemic " disease like Lyme. I very well may have Lyme as well because I tested positive for Babesia but I still think that if my MCS could even get remotely worse, then this therapy might not be for me. thanks, JS: , no I do not have MCS but yes i do have bad gut problems and I get terrible gas with foods that others tollerate with no gas at all. BVT has not made my gut worse or better. I am neutral on BVT right now. I seemed to have good experience after the initial healing crisis but blew it b/c I went and worked out too hard and so I cannot say any more positive things about it since then b/c I'd be lying if I said I was better b/c of it. Its effect lately is just that it causes me to be more tired by the end of the night of the day I do the BVT which if you have problems getting to sleep is a good thing and by the next morning I usually feel better. I am doing just 5-6 stings right now and that is maybe where I stay for the time being as I consider it an adjunct therapy for myself right now and you need to do BVT for 6 months before you fully judge it. If you have lyme then you maybe need to do it for a year. If you have lyme then that is even more reason to do it. I'd recommend it for lyme before I did just CFS w/o lyme if I had to but that's just my opinion. I feel good about coninuing BVT for now.
