Guest guest
I have posted before on our immense progress, so this is just to add a few extras. We are at 3 months now on Peptizyde and HN-Zyme Prime. One of my " reactions " is adult acne. This has finally cleared up. The few times we tried different products, it would return (pretty embarrassing when you are 40 to look like a teenage skin problem). My neuro commented on this at the last meeting, too. My migraines are about 85% improved on a regular basis. The boys say they hardly have a headache most days, if we keep on top of the sensory input. Younger son will sleep by himself in his own bed all night now. I think we might (do I dare whisper it) have both boys completely potty- trained. Older son, who was the most severe, asks others 'are you feeling alright' when others are in a bad mood regularly now. He even asks what he can do to help. He lets his brother go first or choose first MOST of the time now. He readily apologizes for his inappropriate actions instead of blaming and whining. He also works through difficulties instead of exploding in frustration. Our expenses incurred for " ailments " this past month has decreased about $125 for everything. This total includes enzymes, other supplements, food bills, doctor visits, meds. With 3 people in the family coping with this, I need to keep an eye one the bottom line. This is a decrease from our regular budget before the diet and supplements. The diet and supplements increased it by $250-350/month, so now we are back to basics plus some further reduction. Guest guest
One more: My older son used to not respond affectionately at all, even run away if he sensed you coming to touch him. Now he comes and cuddles on the couch while we watch a movie, gives me hug as he passes through the kitchen on his own, and asks to have his back rubbed or to be held when he is tired or doesn't feel well. He says, " I love you " and gives kisses and hugs spontaneously. I know this is a little selfish on my part, but I have waited 9 years for this. . Guest guest
, I am sure you answered this a million times. You wrote me that you were the one doing the capsule-dissolving experiments. Based on that how do you give your kids the enyzmes. Do you break them open, just swallow before the meal, dissolve in water... Also I have found that just 1 pep and sometimes 1 zyme-prime per meal or snack works for me. Does your family need more? > One more: My older son used to not respond affectionately at all, > even run away if he sensed you coming to touch him. Guest guest
Well, , you are worth saying a million and one times. LOL. I buy a bag of gelatin capsules from the health food store - 500 for $8 for size 0. Then I transfer the enzymes from the veggie capsules to the gelatin ones and the boys just swallow them before eating. I am trying to be a little more watchful and if we have 30 minutes before dinner then I give them one of the Peptizyde/Zyme Prime veggie capsules. You certainly can open them up and mix with food or drink before eating, but they have said they would rather swallow the capsules so this is what I do. I use just one Pep and one Zyme at each meal. They have never seemed to need more no matter how much they eat. The maximum has been 2 slices of large cheese pizza, milk to drink and ice cream for dessert. Our reaction is a migraine starting 2-3 hours later so I would know if they were reacting. . > , I am sure you answered this a million times.
