Guest guest
Trudy- Thanks for the recommendation. Both books by the Balchs...Prescription and Dietary Wellness are the ones that I probably use the most. I really like the easy layout and comprehensive information. I am looking to supplement my library with some another reference source that goes even further into depth on the herbs/natural stuff and provides cautions about them as well. For example, many sources recommend Black Cohosh for hormone issues yet neglect to discuss the salicalyte(sp?) component...that type of thing. If you happen to think of anything, please let me know. Thanks for getting back to me on this. Thanks Kathy Herbs. etc. - Kathy > Hi Kathy, > > I've been thinking about your request for a book title, and one came to > mind that I would recommend to people who are new to natural medicine. > I would recommend " Prescription for Nutritional Healing " by Phyllis A. > Balch, CNC and F Balch, M.D. > > However, I would not limit myself to only one book, because one book > does not have all the answers.
