Guest guest
Bayer makes BayGam Intramuscular with no preservatives. IV is much more effective than IM for the immune system. But IM is better than nothing. Initially you need to get the IV in a Drs. office to monitor it, But I & many others get them in Home by a visiting Nurse or someone who can start it. I take 30 grams of GG every week & it takes about 4 hours. I have been doing this for about 10 years. I started out using a smaller amount at a slower drip & slowly built up to this I drip it at about 3 to 5 seconds between drips It depends on your own body how fast you can tolerate it I never get infections or complications like Bronchitis etc. My level of energy & health is held at a much higher & functional level & I would not give it up for anything. I was diagnosed with Immune Dysfunction (279.3) Subtype Nezelof's Syndrome (279.13) & CFIDS (279.8) I had multiple abnormalities on cellular immune dysfunction on multiple assessment Diminished B cell levels of 90 (250-750), diminished absolute Lymphocyte count of only 882, Diminished CD-4 at 337, Diminished Natural Killer cell count of only 35, diminished total T lymphocytes & activated T lymphocytes. Disgammaglobulinemia was diagnosed There is an article re GG & CFIDS in the New England Journal of Medicine. Lloyd et all; A double blind, Placebo controlled Trail of IV GG in patients with CFIDS November 1990, Volume 89, pages 561-567 I hope this answers all your questions & if anyone needs to know anything else, please feel free to e-mail me. I can provide my Pharmacists # to anyone looking or a source of these products also. & he can answer more questions.
Guest guest
Thanks so much for this reponse. You are a Godsend! These are the answers I was looking for. If you would, please email your pharamcist's number. I have had several tests done as well. I consistently show low NKC activity, my absolute lymphocytes are on the low end, my helper/suppressor ratio is between 3 and 4%, low CD8s, and I recently and finally caught on that my IgG subclasses (3 & 4) are diminished. I have had 3 Immune Deficiency Panels to confirm this & it wasn't until the last and most recent test that I asked the right questions to the lab director who suggested GG therapy. If it wasn't for him, I could've gone on another few years without knowing. All this time and my doc didn't even pick up on the results! Just goes to show you that WE must take responsibility ourselves. According to my research, the results qualify me for a " selective IgG subclass deficiency " which is why I keep getting recurrent upper respiratory infections for the last few years and perhaps why my candida and bacterial problems have been tough to deal with. Also - have some questions: 1) Has your cellular immunity level (T-cells, NK cells & function, lymphocytes, etc.) improved as result of the GG therapy, as I thought it only boosts antibodies (IGs)? 2) Have you tried GH to help with boosting immune function, and if so, what resulted? 3) Do you think GG therapy will help with gut-associated infections (i.e. candida, dysbiosis) as well as the URIs? Thanks again! > Bayer makes BayGam Intramuscular with no preservatives. > IV is much more effective than IM for the immune system. > But IM is better than nothing. > Initially you need to get the IV in a Drs. office to monitor it, But I & > many others get them in Home by a visiting Nurse or someone who can start it. > I take 30 grams of GG every week & it takes about 4 hours. > I have been doing this for about 10 years. Guest guest
Hi, I am glad to have helped. I have not tried Growth Hormones. I find the GG helps dramatically with my overall health, my Fibro & my Environmental sensitivities. Bit I have always had a serious Candida problem. So I can control it if I am careful with my diet & do high protein low card & no sugars. I do a bit of whole fruit now & then & use Vegetable Glycerin as a sweetener along with brown rice syrup & Stevia root etc. My Dr. used to have me on Nystatin & Diflucan etc. But that is hard on my stomach & liver. This diet really makes a big difference & I do not crave sugars. I have not had my cellular immunity tested but I am pretty sure it has helped with all of that from what I can tell about myself wha the Drs. have said. If I got the testing & it showed my immune system is doing better, then the insurance that pays for it might say I do not need the GG. But It is what is helping & causing the diffetence. When I went off it a few years back for 3 months, I really seriously relapsed. So I have been afraid do the testing for that reason So I hope that can answer your question. E-mail & he can refer you to the right person to talk to re: the GG. His e-mail is afroyd & msn.com or alzgolf@... if you cannot get through him, let me know & I will give you a phone # to call. Good Luck, I think this will really help you. Buffalo
