Guest guest
Hi Rich, As someone who is about to embark on heparin treatment and has low red blood cells, from memory I think that I was approx 4.0 (normal 4.5-6.5 x 10 to the 12/L), I wonder if you could explain your comments below. I am familiar with the necessity of monitoring platelet levels for heparin induced thrombosis but unaware of any need for monitoring RBCs. I tested positive on three counts on the ISAC panel. Many thanks, Bobby ................. As an example, I know that you have had good success with treating hypercoagulation in yourself and your family members, and I'm happy about that, but at the same time, I don't think you would advocate giving heparin treatment to all PWCs without doing the ISAC testing, would you? I think that could be a dangerous move for some people who are already short of red blood cells. __________________________________________________
