Guest guest
Quick question: I've been reading a lot of posts about mixing Peptizyde in cold vs hot (warm) liquid or food. 1)We desolve the Pep in V8 Splash then freeze it into popsicles. We usually let her have a popsicle right before dinner. 2)We desolve the Pep in soups and such that have been cooked on the stove. We do not put it in while cooking, but usually right after. We mix it at a temperature that is comfortable for eating, in other words...warm to hot, but not boiling. Are both of these going to be as effective? Guest guest
Penny, Both methods should be OK. Enzymes that have been dissolved in solution stay much more active if stored frozen. If the soup is cool enough to eat, or even a little warmer, the enzymes should be just fine. Guest guest
Rene, Curious... Why not? Don't a lot of people mix it in iced juice for their kids to take to school? Guest guest
Hi Anne Sorry, I should clarify this. It's not good to store dry enzymes in the fridge long term, as refrigerators are usually quite humid and that activates/degrades the enzymes. It is fine to mix them in juice and of course you do need to keep them cold once they've been mixed with liquid. I understand that enzymes can be frozen for fairly short periods (a week? ... not sure about this) and so this might be an option. Don't quote me on this! :-) take care René > > > > > > Can I pre-mix OLE, enzymes and probiotics? > > > > > > If so how long will they last in the fridge? > > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > Lori B > > > > > >
Guest guest
http://enzymestuff.com/discussionschool.htm Enzymestuff says you can partially freeze. Could I mix all three together and freeze? Just trying to find shortcuts for my husband. He has a hard time remembering to give our son supplements when I am not around. Lori B --- anneecbrynn <abrynn@...> wrote: > Rene, > > Curious...
