;

I tried macrobiotics for awhile and added kombu to rice dishes and occasionally

ate arame, wakame and nori. I can not say I noticed a difference but I learned

to enjoy the taste.

Recently, I've had a craving for nori (since I started HGH), I assume my body is

looking for minerals. I toast it lightly over a gas flame until it turns from

green to a very dark green and then eat it plain. Too much to make rice rolls.

Best Wishes;

Wakame or Kombu? They are

supposed to be the richest source of magnesium and minerals and can chelate

metals AND radiation. I ate some raw, fresh, (not a little powder) and did

feel more solid and well being.

It makes a big difference to eat anything raw.

Hello,

Does anyone know to make the kelps, wakame and other

seaweed plants tasty? Any raw food recipes consisting

of the above mentioned ingredients would be helpful.

These items taste very yucky when eaten raw.

Thanks,

Prashant

Hi,

I believe that I have had these Kelps with some good soy sauce, some

rice vinegar, and some sesame oil. One could mix in other fresh

vegetables.

Hi Prashant;

If you check out cookbooks on macrobiotic cooking there are usually some

receipes. For example, in Aveline Kushi's " Complete Guide to Macrobiotic

Cooking " there are receipes and a brief discription of various sea vegetables.

Also, I would like to add that I find cooked food works best for me. The raw

food diet is valuable but I've found my intestines are more comfortable with

cooked. Everyone is different.

And since I've gotten on the " diet " subject, I'd like to end the e-mail by

saying I've tried doing a strict macrobiotic diet (getting a counsler and all)

for a couple of years but it was just TOOOOOO much work. I've taken the parts

that work for me and left the rest.

Best Wishes,

Fran
