Guest guest
Have you tried the Grosman nasal irrigator? It helps me a lot. But mostly just cleared up on antibiotics for mycoplasma, and removing mercury. Guest guest
Hi I have had great success with two approaches. For pollen allergies and other inhalant allergies, I take Thorne brand HMC Hesperidin. This is a bioflavonoid, like Quercetin (which some people prefer, taken in combo with Bromelain for inflammation). The Hesperidin takes a few days to two weeks to start working, but it is great. It " erases " all symptoms of allergy for me (not environmental " sensitivities " /poisoning responses which are different). No red or itchy or watery eyes, no congestion, no sick feeling, etc. Hesperidin is better than anti-histamines, safe and healthy, it is also great for the cardiovascular system. Some folks take it with food to avoid any possible stomach cramp like vit C will sometimes do. Anti-histamines typically work by blocking the receptor sites for histamine, so the histamine (which causes the inflammation and allergy symptoms is still floating around in your body). The Hesperidin actually prevents the histamine release from your mast cells, so none if it is lose. I start taking it in February to beat the lengthy pollen season. For sinusitis, which is inflammation of the sinus tissues from irritants like mold, I take Grapefruit seed extract. Read all the info on it in the website address to follow. It is anti-fungal/bacterial/protozoal, broad spectrum anti-biotic that is also an antioxidant and safe for your intestinal flora. It is nontoxic, comes in nasal spray, ear drops, or liquid or tablets. Can be used around the home and garden for disinfecting and killing mold. Good pet medicine, too. I have had sinus problems since November and started taking this stuff and now can breathe again. http://www.nutriteam.com read all the GSE stuff. I get it at my local grocery stores, but it is on sale now at the above address. Unfortunately I have no financial interest in this lol Cheers Good luck Jo
Guest guest
I think if you are hyped up Th2, other than being in a clean room, very little will help in the way of removing allergens. I am going to an ENT in the next 6 weeks because I have the same problem as you do, always one side (left) blocked. I will let you know what happens. I hear they can 'open up' the sinuses now somehow. Guest guest
This is sign of inflammation. It gets better if you have less allergens around.I got better after removing all my carpets but than I got worse again.(I have a cat now and I smoke). Mt left side is always worse than the right side meaning high left brain activity in eastern traditional medicine.I am sure that this is correct as my left side always opens after a good mediation. Take care..nil Re: Clearing Sinusitis, Dust and Molds | I think if you are hyped up Th2, other than being in a clean | room, very little will help in the way of removing allergens. Guest guest
Dear Just to add my comments/experiences to all the others. I had a great deal of relief from blocked nose through EDP at the Homeopathic Hospital in London and also the Gossan Irrigator really works for me. Kindest regards, Annette __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Dear all, I used to sufer from really bad sinusitis, when I was placed on thyroid hormones this disappeared completely. I assume this was due to the alleviation of the problems with tissue swelling. Guest guest
Aagh! Another thing (EDP) they don't do here (legally) in the states. (Barclay - nice-sounding English name, by the way.) As far as the irrigator, I'm not sure which one I've used off-hand - it's made by some company in Florida, I think, and recommended by a chiro-naturopath over here by the name of Poesnecker. Basically I flushed the nostrils with salt water every night for 2 months or so, but it didn't seem to do any lasting good. I don't know whether I was doing it enough. (For instance, I never did it in the morning too.) What do you think? - N. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the compliment. I usually use my Gossan Irrigator at night with salted water and that normally works for me. Sorry to hear no EPD. Kindest regards, Annette (New Zealander living in London) __________________________________________________
