Guest guest
Hi all, I haven't been reading this group regularly this year, but want to post this link, if only for information. If you have questions to me, please email me personally. While looking up the KEAC lab for other purposes, I saw that they have started an English version of their HPU site. HPU is claimed to be a hereditary metabolic error, leading to CFS-symptoms, which can be corrected by taking certain supplements. Many Dutch patients with CFS-type problems who have been tested positive for this, have had success with the supplements they advise for this condition. I think myself that even if the condition has a hereditary origin, it is quite well possible, that some kind of (mycoplasmal?) infection can be implicated in the actual realisation of the condition. Also one of the prescribed supplements is zinc, which, I think, is known for its anti-inflammatory properties. http://www.hputest.nl/english.htm The site has a description of the condition and a selftest to determine if a test could be sensible. The test info is only in Dutch at the moment, it is a urine test which in Holland cost the equivalent of $ 40. More info in English can be asked for by email. Hope this helps, nne
