Guest guest
, This is helpful. Do you know who those supplements help correct the sulfur problem? I am told serine will do that. Serine recommended from Tyson Nutraceutical www.surfscene.net 818-881-4665 Maybe I have a piece of your puzzle. Sulfer is a substance that normally is detoxing so if you have too much there is something I think wrong with your sulfer/detox metabolism. There are liver detox tests (I think Great Smokies has one) to determine this. Avoiding sulfur foods will make you feel better. I did that for years. But, I think you also have to work to get the sulfer detox pathway working again. To do that you need to look at two things -what is blocking it (an obvious thing would be mercury) and how to " open it " like getting rid of the mercury (but to do that you need your sulfer pathway so therefore you are in an endless loop...). What I used was B1, B6 (actually P-5-P) and molybdenum. I can now eat onions and garlic, MSM etc without feeling toxic/sick. ---
Guest guest
There's no guessing on my part. My doctor took extensive blood tests and is using hi bilirubin as one indicator of high sulfur. Sulfur often comes in the form amino acids, methionine and its products cysteine and cystine, so protein foods are a major source. He claims serine helps detox it. I am still looking for support for this claim as I proceed experimentally. No negative reaction from seriine for sure at this point. I don't think you can guess at what to take. You should do the liver detox panel and see what your liver is doing. If you are high in cysteine for example, you can get sulfer intolerant. And there are things you can take to combine with the cysteine to lower it. Doris Re: Elena/ all/ sulfer , This is helpful. Do you know who those supplements help correct the sulfur problem?
