Donna. There are many books on NAET. " Say Goodbye to Allergy Relayed

Autism " is one. " Winning the War Against Immune Disorders and Allergies " is

another. All the parents are taught basic Muscle testing. If a childs

systems goes weak in relation to any element- they are reactive or sensitive

to that particular item. Your body can be reactive to anything- foods,

chemicals,inhalents, light, color, sound,

even other peoples energy fields. I had one little guy that ran around the

room and flushed the toilet over and over when his father came home. It

turned out that he was highly reactive to minerals and his father sweated

profusely. When we took a

sample of his fater sweat and treated him for it-he stopped this complusive

behavior. We have found that there usually is a reason for every action-we

just haven't been asking the right questions.

do a google search on NAET, and most sites will link you up with a

doc in your area. These are naturopathic docs, most likely...

regular doc's don't " believe " in this treatment. My son has it for

allergies and it works. His health is one hundred percent better!

(off of zyrtec and claritin!) It is the " hokiest " method I've seen,

but I have learned not to pass judgment on what I do not fully

understand... and I've come to accept the results we are getting as

proof that it is working for us.

Janet- Yes-The ragweed could be casuing stimming. Just muscle test him to

find out. The great thing about NAET is that it puts you in the position of

power to find out what your child is reactive to. We give free parent

workshop training the last Sunday of each month. Our parents are absoluteley

super. They test their childs foods, clothing, environment. We have found

that there is a reason for absolutely every reaction. Anthing that child

could see, hear, touch, taste or smell could cause a neurological reaction.

Who is your PR? Did they take the advanced Metabolic Pathways course for

Autism and Auto-immune disorders?

My son, Holden, has been receiving NAET treatments for a year. I believe they

have helped him tremendously. He was allergic to everything, including Vit. C;

B vitamins, Calcium, a good portion of the ELISA test; and outdoor allergens. I

have figured out that outdoor allergies result in Holden being mean and angry;

this is where the NAET treatments have so obviously worked, because the next

day, he is fine and is no longer reactive. Plus, with NAET, you can bring any

item from home to which you suspect an allergy. Following the treatment, you

have to abstain from that particular item for 25 hours.

Ragweed is in the air. Could this be why he's stimming?

[ ] Naet and Magnesium

Thank you all for responding to my questions about Magnesium, and , I

would very much appreciate if you could repost the info you offered to.

Also, I still am kind of unsure about the whole NAET thing. How exactly

does Naet find out what the child is allergic to and how exactly do they

" clear " these allergies. Is food elimination involved as well as forms of

physical manipulation.

Also My son has had a stim greatly increase lately and I just thought I

would mention it hear to see if someone else has successfully dealt with a

similar thing with their child. My son has started to headbutt things. Not

out of anger, but seemingly for stimulation of some sort. He will hit his

head on your arm or leg a couple of times in a row or push on you with his

head. Any ideas?

And my son has concave toenails also! Always thought that kind of unusual.

Thanks so much,

Donna
