For stomach & intestinal problems,

try eating eating malanga root every day.

I have had serious stomach & gut problems for 20 years since I had this

illness & recently also found I had an ulcer

I could not tolerate the herbs or antibiotics for them so a Cuban friend

suggested malanga root. It is incredibly soothing & healing. She said it has

healed bleeding Ulcers in a few days.

I have needed to eat it every day for the last few months & my stomach is

doing amazing well.

It is in the yucca family. It grows in places like Costa Rica & Brazil &

Cuba. You should be able to get it at any Asian Mkt.

You peel it & cook it for a long time by steaming or boiling it till it is

soft. Then you mash it & beat it & add milk.

Maybe add salt or butter.

If I stop eating it I have problems again. If something irritates my stomach

I just eat some & it is fine.

Finally, stay away from refined sugar. I have found that refined

Very true, made the same experience. Along with all those useful valuable

nutritious tips I would also suggest aloe vera gel - you can dissolve it in

water and drink. It has many healing properties.

I do not know what sort of pain you experience but just in case....do you

think it might be caused by spasms? I sometimes have this. You may wish to

try a muscle relaxant like guaifenesin, it's a mild relaxant and has other

benefits for PWC.

And a warning in the end :-)...be careful when introducing fruit and

vegetable juice, do it slowly, becasuse it can temporarily worsen GI

dyscomfort and produce more gas.

Wish you get better soon

Hi,

No Malanga root is a root tuber not a fruit.

Papaya has a digestive enzyme so that is how it helps.

But it works differently than the malanga.

If it grows in Brazil I think it should grow there or you should be able to

get it.

Hi,

I live in Argentina

do you think " malanga root " is the same that " mango " (fruit) or " papaya "

(fruit).

They were recommended for the same probs. to me. I eat them raw, perhaps it

is necessary to cook them?
