Guest guest
Have any of you found oxygen useful while traveling on planes? If so, what liter flow do you use? I'm traveling to see Dr. Cheney, but no one in his office had heard of this. Jackie
Guest guest
Jackie, I used 02 to fly recently (July). The flow was set at 2 - you need a prescription from a doctor to do this. I think you can find the exact wording in the archives here. I believe I got the information about 02 from a Cheney patient? You need to go through the " oxygen desk " of the airline, not regular booking. And have a copy of the prescription with you when you fly. The arrangements I needed to make with the 02 desk had to be in a 10 day parameter of the flight - meaning they had to get written instructions by fax from my doctor no earlier than 10 days before I flew. The ppl doing the 02 with airlines were very knowledgable, helpful, professional. I flew Continental overseas. I hope this helps. > Have any of you found oxygen useful while traveling on planes?
