Nelly,

Thanks for the message. So far we haven't heard anything about

bioterrorism attacks today, but one wonders what will be next. It

seems pretty clear that there are people out there who don't like the

U.S. very much. What a horrible thing to do! So many people killed,

injured, or suffering loss of loved ones. I wonder what this will lead

to. No doubt there will be other innocent people who will suffer

from whatever the response turns out to be. I pray for us all.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the USA today, especially the

victim's families and survivors, the innocent victims of a few fanatics.

Our hotels in Calgary are full of air line passengers that have been stranded

and we're making space for 500 more that we expect will come from diverted

airlines. There has also been a call for

blood donations. Sometimes there really isn't a whole lot anyone can do except

let you all know that we care.

Many thanks to all of those around the world sending kind sentiments to the

U.S. It is wonderful to have such a caring, global community on this list.

I had been in charge or organizing a CFIDS meeting in Rhode Island with two

heads of the CFIDS Association - Kim Kenney and Tom Sheridan - for today,

Wednesday. Kim Kenney was in New York when the events took place there, on

her way further North, and Tom Sheridan was in D.C. I thought everyone would

like to know that these CFIDS activists are both okay (though the meeting

here was cancelled). I don't have any more information.

Best wishes to all,

Peggy

Our hearts, prayers and love go to you in the US. People in my country have

been bringing flowers and candles to the US embassy in Prague and we keep

praying...they offered blood, money but there is no way how to get it to

you.

You may be isolated just now but you are no alone
