Guest guest
How many have heard of Alpine industries line of AIR PURIFIERS [most definitely not filters] Sometimes called Living Air Purifiers? Or Thunderstorm in a Box. Business is 15 years old - claim to remove smaller dust particles than a hepa filter plus the killing of molds, chemical odors, etc. I just got a new smaller whole house unit a week ago and when it is home [has become very popular] works great for me and my boys - when it is home that is. Only found out about them late April [ being out in the boonies and don't read papers or watch much TV, etc had never heard of this 15 year old technology.] It was the recommendation of a PWF on a private list that loves her bigger unit [6 years now] that convinced me to buy the new smaller unit. Now turns out someone else on that list also has the bigger unit too [5 years] and likes it too but apparently had it set too high [1800 ft house on 3000 ft setting] Units use adjustable very low level ozone to kill mold, bacteria and odors such as perfume [ about same amount of ozone as fresh mountain or forest air esp after a thunderstorm] Also uses RF negative ion generation which goes up to 60 feet away even through non metallic walls to drop dust to floor. What I would like to know is if you have heard of them or even have one - are you satisfied with it - do you clean it properly on a regular basis and if it bothers you - have to lowered the purifier setting [ quickly found out more is not better but neither is too little.]? Has Dr. cheney heard of them? Since getting mine - turns out quite a few in my area either have one or seen them in action. A friend does janitorial service and several places he cleans have them and if set properly - love them. At least 2 dentist offices have them and a local bar owner was getting his teeth done - noticed how nice air was in office then went out and bought 2 for his bar from the local dealer who targets businesses. It was from one of these customers I found out local dealers name - had already bought mine from somewhere else. Any feedback is welcome. Bye the way the smaller unit [ 2200 ft] is $300 U.S.retail less expensive than 3000 ft unit. Have heard some US insurance companies pay all or part of costs since it lowers their medical cost payout. Date: Tue, 20 Mar 2007 07:08:29 -0400 Good morning everyone, I started a sprout mixture of 1/2 Broccoli and 1/2 Alphalfa. Is this okay to do or should sprout them separately? Thanks, Anita
