Hi folks

Does anyone know of (or had even) any side effects from taking any

combination of niacin, bromelain, and turmeric for reducing

fibrinogen? If not, there would seem to be no problems in trying this

combo to see if it helps symptoms.

If you have Salicylate sensistivities, then Bromelain and Tumeric may

cause a reaction... If you are allergic to bee stings, there is a

caution with Bromelain, a percentage of those allergic reacts.

Niacin: High dosage ( > 5 gm/day) results in liver problems which

reverses after niacin stops.

- Niacin flush and itching (lasts 15-45 minutes) is

an 'inconvience' but not a health issue. Non-flushing niacin does not

appear to have the same effect.

Add in Grape Seed Extract... and you have a pretty good, cheap, low-

risk non-prescription anti-coagulation cocktail. It will not correct

all of the problems... but makes a good start
