Guest guest
I have just sent an update and a success story to the list and sort of had some thoughts I wanted to share about a recent email I read. Regarding some research that we shouldn't take our kids off the gfcf diet. With all the amazing changes and improvements we have seen in our son since coming off the diet (granted we saw some equal positives at the time of the cessation of the " autistic " zoning, etc.), at this time, we see no reason to consider that the enzyme effect will suddenly go away, or that the addition of gluten and casein back into his diet will be detrimental to him. As has been indicated in previous communications, I don't believe that only one enzyme is appropriate for people who are considering using enzymes if not on the gfcf diet. There are other proprietary support programs out there that believe that the goal is to fix the problem, not to remove the offenders. We need to find the problem and solve it with our children, not limit them for the rest of their lives to a diet limited in nutrients. To make the claim that only one enzyme is the only solution until more research is done is amazing coming from a company that has devoted its life to the support of our special children!
