Hi everyone,

I've been offline for a spell due to extremely long hours at work -

NOT the greatest thing for CFS!

Anyway, I went up to Tahoe to see Dr. this weekend. He

mentioned to me that when he was at the Seattle conference, he spoke

with none other than Dr. Klimas about little ole me. He was

curious about her insight because I have a diagnosed severe IgA

deficiency, and even though it is unclear whether or not / to what

extent this impacts my CFS, he thought a CFS-literate Immunologist

would have some thoughts.

Anyway, Dr. Klimas suggested to that I try ImmunoCal. Now, I

have been taking ImmunePro for about 6-7 months. I think maybe it does

*something* for me but I'm not sure - nothing dramatic, but maybe

something.

Dr. seemed to think that Dr. Klimas' preference for the CAL

versus the PRO had to do with the amounts of Immunoglobins in the CAL.

Remember, I have an IgA deficiency. But he wasn't incredibly clear on

this point, and our meeting was pretty quick.

So I think I am going to switch from the PRO to the CAL for three

months. Anyone see this as a good thing or not? I thought the PRO was

supposed to be better then the CAL, so I'm not sure why I would be

switching.

Also, I know the CAL is more $$$ than the PRO. Anyone know of the

cheapest source out there? Needs doesn't sell the CAL.

I'm also on Doxycycline for mycoplasma and may put me on

Transfer Factor soon.

Anyone? ImmunoCAl? PLEASE let me know. My email is

blue89@....

I hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I hope we can all try to

be positive. We WILL get better, won't we? People get better from

diseases all the time. It happens it happens it happens. <whew> By the

way, know I need encouragement, so he told me about a patient

of his (no names or details obviously), a young man around my age

(20's-30's) who was very sick for a few years. He's not completely

well yet but he is now back in school and SURFING (formerly he was a

competetive surfer). isn't taking credit for this - he thinks

the guy is one of those people who just take a turn for the better
