Guest guest
I have been using the Wellness Pharm for my B-12. I would like to try the McGuff B-12 . Could someone give me the phone # and is there anyone who uses Cheney's combination of Taurine with the ProcaIne and B-12 getting these from McGuff? Your help is much appreciated, L

Could someone be so kind as to copy on this list exactly the info. that Cheney writes for a hydroxy script? You can leave out the Taurine in that it would just confuse my PCP. Thanks. Guest guest
This is what my script from Cheney says: B-12 hydrorcobalamin 10,000 mcq /cc 1cc unit dose vials #30 Sig: 1cc Im H.S. L Ps. I am so embarrassed that I mixed up my B-12 inquiry with my magnesium protocol. which you can see below. The Taurine and the Procaine are not part of the B-12 protocol. This is fine example of why I keep a low profile. >> ><< I would like to try the McGuff B-12 . Guest guest
, Are you doing Magnesium with the procaine, taurine and B-12? He has me do mag, procaine and taurine in one IM inj, and B-12 in one SQ inj. each evening. Now with twice a day heparin, and allergy injections daily and three times a week IM Glutathione, I'm one sore puppy. Guest guest
Donna, I was brain fogged when I mentioned B-12 and the Taurine and Proc..... Would you share with me the basic nuts and bolts on how to do the Heparin injection? L from a previous message... L Ps. I'm a skinny PWC, so Cheney's instructions to me were to use my thighs. I could also use my butt, as there is subq fat there, but I can't move around too much - stiff from FMS. You can use your belly if you have some subq fat on it - around two inches either side of your naval (from Ruth, the expert on the ATSG list). Ice the spot for a few minutes, pinch up the skin and inject the heparin into the site, then ice the spot for a few minutes afterward. Cheney says the real trick, even more so than icing, is injecting real slow. Per Cheney, slowly push approx .2cc each time, wait a few seconds for the heparin to diffuse, push another .2cc, etc. until all is injected. Just takes about 50 secs at .2cc/10 seconds of waiting. I've found this to be true - when I'm in a hurry, I tend to bruise more. I have also found that after I pull the syringe out of my leg, I use the alcohol pad and rub the site a little while putting pressure on it. I did not do that at first, and got a few knots under the bruises. Since I have been experimenting with rubbing the knot out, then putting the ice on, there is less bleeding afterwards, and less bruising. Since I'm using my thighs for the B-12 and the heparin, I'm trying to spare them as much as possible, although I see this as a summer of no bathing suits or short shorts!!!! Donna in NC PS - I use a 1/2 inch, 28g, allergy syringe by B-D
Guest guest
My doc isn't Cheney, but he writes for : Hydroxocobalamin l0,000 mcg/ml Unpreserved 30 ml With McGuff's new formulation no anaesthetic is needed. Whether they make it up with Taurine is something I don't know. They did make it up with one of the caines and might still--but they did that when it burned and it doesn't any more. I guess the doc would just call them or you could and ask how to write for it to be added. But, again, it needn't be now, according to my experience and that of others. The Taurine I don't know about, re if it hurts or if McGuff provides it. Again that's something they'll tell a patient, and if the wanna talk with your doc, they'll tell you. Guest guest
Judith, In a brain fogged state, I sent an email where I mixed up my B-12 query with my Magnesium protocol which does include Procaine and Taurine. I do hope others read this who were confused by my other post. L >With McGuff's new formulation no anaesthetic is needed. Whether they >make it up with Taurine is something I don't know.
