I just saw Dr. Brewer on Friday & he said the new test should be available this week. He also said that valganciclovir may be avaiable in April. If anyone else is seriously pursuing this back channel me at moores@... we can share with the group when se get more info. I do not know enough about any of this to share with the group at present but if a few of us research it (who are really serious about this alternative then we can get back with the group) Dr. Brewer said he thinks that valganciclovir will only help a moderate proportion of CFSer -- but a much greater proportion than other antivirals such as valtrex and famvir. He said that TF may help folks get off long term anti virals once they get their viral load down.
