Velvet Deer Antler growth factors

Velvet deer antler is thought to be an " unrefined " source of IGF-1

and IGF-2 and possibly other factors aiding cell repair. However

in one study I saw testosterone levels were raised by

consumption, not IGF-1.

a summary of research can be found at nutrisana.com and other

sites. However with the info patricia posted I'd stay away from the

american and canadian products. The new zealand products

may be safe, at least they are harvested more gently for what

thats worth, but not sure anyone can say that for sure. Life time

and Planetary Formulas use new zealand sources.

Good luck,
