Guest guest
Judy, My ALT was in the 60's before I began the Cheney protocol. I think it was primarily the hydroxycobalmain b-12 injections, the Perm-A-Vite (Nutricology.com), and Imuplus (whey) that brought my liver enzyme tests back to normal. Steve B. Guest guest
Question to everyone. I was just diagnosed with crazy liver functions, they are elevated and since the last blood test six weeks ago are going up further. For a year of CFS they were fine, only now they are problematic. Question - my gastro told me to stop all supplements at they may be making me toxic. I am taking (for several months) olive leaf extract, amino acids (l glutamine, l arganine, l glycene) alpha lipoic acid, magnesium, zinc, vit c, vit e, multi B , B12, and for the past six weeks have added milk thistle, folic acid, whey protein, selenium. Have any of you had the same problem. My elevated liver function was the GPT (ALT I think in English) which has gone from 45 (normal highest is 43) to 55 in six weeks and was always around 20 - normal. Thanks for the info Judy B. Guest guest
Dear Steve, Thanks my problem is now that as my gastro thinks I may have toxidity from all the supplements, he told me to stop everything for two weeks and see, as I didnt have this problem at the beginning but seem to only have developed it recently after a year of CFS, Best, Judy B.
