I am in the chronic fatigue category. LOL.

I started Peptizyde and Zyme Prime 3 months ago and I can tell it

definitely works. I take about 7/day. My best days are when I put a

Peptizyde in my drink and sip on it throughout the day (enzyme

slurpee). Also, a week or so ago, I tried the EnzymAid, and then just

3 Peptizydes per day. The EnzymAid didn't really help, and the 3 Peps

per day helped with the migraines and other " reactions " , but I didn't

have as much energy as doing the 7/day. Taking the Peptizyde added

about 4 good quality hours to my day (I am going good until 10 pm,

instead of crashing at 6 pm). I have a lot more patience because I

have more energy. I have reduced my regular meds by 1/2 so far.

Another thing I use is Moducare from the health food store. This is

based on plant sterolins and helps to regulate the immune system. I

take 2 per day. You can read about it at www.moducare.com. It helps

with alot of immune based conditions. It is a little more expensive

but definitely works. Someone posted a web site where you can order

for about 1/2 price.

Hi, I've got fibro, too, and a 5yo ASD son. The Peptizide really

helps me, as I've found out I'm quite sensitive to dairy, and to

gluten, to a lesser extent. Glad you'll be chelating; please keep us

posted, as we're trying that soon. I've read that mercury stops the

body from making the enzymes necessary to digest casein and gluten,

so it makes sense that being gfcf or using the enzymes (or both!)

would help with the fibro as well as the ASD.IMHO, fibro and ASD are

both caused by mercury poisoning; it's amazing how similar the

symptoms are! Welcome to the board! I think you'll find a lot of

support and good info here.

Hi :

I've tried both the GFCF diet, which both my sons are on, as well as some

enzymes when I decide to cheat. I've been using the Peptizyde for those

occasions. My sons seem to need different support and since I also

haven't taken them off the diet, the occasions to cheat are few. I used

to give my older son EnzymAid, which seemed to calm him down too, but

have discontinued any enzymes for the time being as he has an intestinal

bug and I don't want to make him uncomfortable right now.

I don't know if enzymes, by themselves, will address all your symptoms,

but I know that I suffered from exhaustion, depression, anxiety,

shortness of breath until I put myself on the GFCF diet. I find that

enzymes certainly help for those occasions when I want to stray from the

diet. Sadly, for my sons, they don't do too well with enzymes being

given all the time - their stimming went way up and I've had to cut back

a bit and will try again a little later (they're 5 1/2 and 2/12). But,

last night, I had a chocolate chip cookie (only one) and took an

Peptizyde and haven't had a single symptom that usually accompanies

eating wheat and dairy.

I hope this helps with your decision making. Good luck.

Hi,

I take both Peptizyde and HN-Zyme Prime and I have had a significant

reduction in the muscle soreness I used to experience; I would guess

about a 90% decrease. I'm still trying to decide if and how much it

helps with my arthritis symptoms- I'm going to say up to 50%. The

enzymes have not helped at all with some other symptoms, so I know it

is not a placebo response. The best part is I seem to have more

energy overall.

Hi, , this is the other . How interesting- I have fibro and lupus,

just recently diagnosed with the later. I have not tried the enzymes on myself

yet only my autistic daughter- I really can't afford with all are other

supplements for me to take the enzymes right now. I do however take moducare and

this has helped me tremendously. I truly believe there is a connection between

mothers with these problems and their autistic children and the leaky gut may be

it.

Thanks everyone for your advice about FM and enzymes. The consensus

seems to be it works for most who've tried it, so starting tomorrow I

will give it a whirl. I'll let you know how it goes.

In case I left this out, I take 1 Pep and 1 Zyme with each meal and

then 2-3 in-between meals for the " therapeutic " part, or those 2-3 go

in my drink which I sip on all day.

,

I also have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I have found

the enzymes do allow me to occasionally have dairy without a flair up.

I have been pain-free for a couple of months now, as a result of

several changes in diet and meds, and doing yoga four days a week. I

only take the enzymes if I know I am going to have some dairy, not as

a daily dietary supplement.

Would you mind directing me to the studies indicating that

Fibromyalgia is caused by " intestinal parasites when the internal

flora are compromised by heavy metals? " Thanks in advance.
