Guest guest
I have to agree with . Any kind of chelation before removal can be quite dangerous. I started on the day of removal, and got quite severely damaged from it. The theory now is to allow the body some time to reach a state of equilibrium before attempting to chelate, because there will be some mercury mobilized during the process, no matter how carefully it is carried out. My husband still has his amalgams in, and Dr. Lieberman's office, Dr. Scheer actually, has him taking a product called DeMerTox by Labs until he has his amalgams out and during the entire process. He then suggested waiting a short period and doing a DMSA/glycine challenge test before beginning chelation, if at all. The DeMerTox contains Thiamine, Riboflavin, Biotin, L-Glutathione, NAC, Dietary sulfur, Seleno-Methionine, Garlic and parsley leaf. I have heard of both putting charcoal under the rubber dam during removal, and ingesting some after removal to catch any particles that may have entered the GI stream. Dr. Scheer was in charge of Dr. Lieberman's detox unit until he left the practice a few months ago to go out on his own. Lots of people can give advice as to what is currently being done, and it is in layman's terms, whereas much of the amalgam list discussion is way above the layman's head. (The amalgam list is meant for scientists - I got discouraged over the raging battle between two members who had diametrically opposed views and never hesitated to flame each other. Very little moderation.) Donna in NC Re: Vale/Cheryl/ Mercury? > Vale and Cheryl, > > Just to throw in another point of view: My md is now against the use of > DMSA, at any time. Guest guest
See www.cfsdoc.org on Heavy metals. Chorella is the first chelator to use because it doesn't enter the blood brain barrier. It sucks up heavy metals from the gut like a vacuum cleaner. Buy from http://www.taiwanchlorella.com/e-home.htm ============================================================== I have to agree with .
