Guest guest
Sue, there is a western blot test for Lyme that my doctor used. I was borderline - had antibodies but not enough to be true positive - but since I had the bullseye rash my doctor decided to treat me empirically. I've been on 300 mg of doxycycline for four months and will finish next week. I herxed at first (greatly increased joint pain for about a week), then stopped, and since then my joint pain has been improving. I have other illnesses so this is just one layer, but I think we may have fixed it with this treatment.
