Guest guest
I have had 3 SPECTS done, a. I had an injection of Radio- active something or other, then a scan very similar to a CT scan..... lasted about 20 mins. Then I had to go away for 2 hours..... could eat and drink normally, and then the scan was repeated. No problem, and you should not get any kind of reaction. Just take a good book to read!! My SPECTS have all been abnormal and my doc, who does a lot of compensation court cases, says it is VERY worth while to have a SPECT done. Good Luck, Anne > I have an appointment with Dr. Shungu at Columbia University to have a Spect > scan done the first week in January.
