That stuff smarts too much to leave out procaine. Next ask your doctor about adding DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide not to be confused with dimethyl nitrosamine which is a cancer causing agent used in research labs. Totally different stuff, but I had one doctor who got them confused) to aid absorption. I started putting my vit/min shots in my tummy after my hips and thighs got used up. I wish I'd done it sooner. It gets deposited between the fat and the muscle (or even in the fat)in the stomach shots and it circulates much faster. Sub q would probably be too shallow though.Part of my problem is the circulation is so bad in my muscles, the lumps would stay for weeks or even months. Much better in the tummy. Never try to go INTO the muscle in the stomach. A nurse told me that those muscles are too thin. Theres a risk of puncturing the intestines. Good luck! Judy R. Guest guest
Judy, Do you gets lumps or pain in your tummy from the shots? If you do, do they go away? I have a huge one in my thigh that is not going down, probably the same as what happened with your muscles. Phoenix, I still get the lumps esp. where I've built up scar tissue. But the lumps go away fast. Sometimes in just an hour or two. The vits/mins circulate so fast that I will taste them within a few minutes of doing the shot! Judy R.
Guest guest
My doctor has been giving me magnesium injections (in the rear)for the past 6 weeks, he adds 1cc of xylocaine and I don't feel a thing after nor does it leave any bump or scar. He mentioned to me that we only absorb about 20% of magnesium when we take it orally, since we have malabsorption problems to begin with it we would have to take an awful lot for a long time in order to get our magnesium stores back up. Magnesium Glycinate in capsule form is the best bet if taken orally. I'm going to start injecting myself soon and I was shown what to do, it doesn't seem too difficult so far. Well see > > Does anyone know if Cheney has ever mentioned wether it's better to take > oral magnesium with meals or between meals for better absorption? > > Also, is it possible to do magnesium shots subcutaneous instead of IM? Guest guest
I am a newer patient of Cheney. My first visit was this past Oct. His protocol for injecting magnesium is working for me and quite beneficial. I had tried with another Doc a few years ago to do Mag only in my thigh and it hurt like h.. and I had the iumps too. You have to get it into the muscle. So Cheney has me injecting in my rear, high up near the hip. Beginning with cold packs for 5-10 minutes before the injection which helps to prevent micro injury to the tissue. A 1 1/4 inch syringe ( a 23G which is it's thichness) that you jab through the skin and then SLOWLY slide to the hilt. The syringe is loaded with Procaine, Taurine and Mg with a total of 2.5cc. (1ccMg, 1cc Taurine, and .5 Procaine) The procaine numbs the area because Mg burns. If I miss the muscle then I get those painful lumps that stay for a while and I do have a few right now. I have been doing this nightly for 6 weeks and I am not saying it is easy. But the procaine makes it possible with the cold pack before starting. I used Cheney's Klonopin/Doxepin Elixer both for sleep and neural protection. I have noticed that with the Mg injections I am now waking up feeling much more rested. Good Luck >Does anyone know if Cheney has ever mentioned wether it's better to take >oral magnesium with meals or between meals for better absorption? > >Also, is it possible to do magnesium shots subcutaneous instead of IM?
