Guest guest
From: , T. [mailto:moores@...] Just for the heck of it I am going to try the ATP/GTH mix that Dr. Salvo uses. Any tips or suggestions? I am getting the lidocaine to kill the sting. [Patti] I have some suggestions. Firstly, get the bigger needles (ouch!) so you can give injection IM (intramuscular). My doc first gave me a script for sub cutaneous and I found the injections were not beneficial for me unless given IM (Salvato recommends IM). I like to put the needle in slowly and I can feel when the needle hits muscle. Also if I don't get it in the muscle I get nasty red, itchy welts at injection site, but not with IM. Secondly, my doc made a mistake and gave me procaine instead of lidocaine. Don't know how the lidocaine works, but the procaine works great. I use 1ml of procaine in the same syringe as the ATP/GLUT. In fact, may sound a bit strange (not really if you read Aslan's research on procaine - see www.antiaging-systems <http://www.antiaging-systems> for info on Aslan's work - Aslan showed remarkable results with procaine, but only if given with an antioxidant - which GSH is) but I think the injections are more effective with procaine. I tested this on myself by going without the procaine for awhile and my results were not as good. Thirdly, you may want to measure your progress by keeping a journal. Seems like I only really notice the benefits after I go off ATP/GTH. The benefits seem so natural and gradual that its hard to see a difference. I've gone off three times now and after a couple weeks off, all pain etc comes back the way it was. Also I use DNCB to measure my increase in NK function (see Mark Konlee's - keephope.org or ..net I think - site for info on DNCB use) This summer the doc I was getting ATP/GTH from suddenly decided to stop doing all " alternative " medicine and stopped my script for ATP. I definitely went downhill after stopping. I've been looking ever since for a doc who will let me get on this again and just found one on Friday. So as soon as my ATP/GTH comes in the mail I will be back on the injections again. Patti --
Guest guest
Hello Steve, I'm a new member of this list. My wife has FMS and I'm her researcher. :-) She has just started going to a doctor that practices in Dr. Salvato's clinic here in Houston. He plans to start her on the ATP/GTH shots in several weeks, so I'm very interested in your experience with this treatment as well as anyone else who may have tried it. I'm interested in how it compares with the whey treatments since whey also increases the level of glutathione in the cells. Regards, Bill ATP/GTH shots | Just for the heck of it I am going to try the ATP/GTH mix that Dr. Salvo | uses. Any tips or suggestions? Guest guest
My pharmacist compounds ATP/GLUTATHIONE shots for people (I assume this is what you mean by ATP/GTH?) He was just telling me that today. If anyone needs a source or wants to comparison shop it's Meyers apothecary 707-468-8991. I think they're on the net too-somewhere. I can certainly recommend dealing with them as people, they are great. They do a lot of compounding. No financial connection blah blah E.
