Guest guest
I was wondering something. I recently have been very seriously following all this discussion of metals, etc. and in my own way thought I wonder if I remove whatever else he's having added supplementally to see if that effects his tantrums (which have significantly lessened since the worst time we had back in April/May). So I stopped giving him his probiotic (stools are so nice that I don't think that's an issue right now) and his Rhino Vites multivitamin/multimineral. He has been calmer, more willing to listen and respond (either verbally or in action) and transitions seem so much easier. Note: he's still a 3 year old!!!! Could either of those attribute? Is there anything in these that could exacerbate the intensity of struggle? And a public accolade to you, ! Thanks for making us a " project " --it has been a blessing! I know that God brings those into our lives as we need them and when we need them. And you are one of those people that has blessed us with your diligence and your caring. Thank you. Guest guest
My son reacts to almost every supplement out there. This includes every probiotic I tried. And are those vitamins children chewable? Then they would have some sort of flavoring, whether " natural " like fruit juice, or artificial. Any color/flavor, whether or not natural, would send my son over the edge. Here is more info on phenols [artificial/natural flavors etc] http://home.pacbell.net/cscomp/phenol.htm So I would agree with you that you are definitely seeing something related to the supplement removal. I have no idea tho, whether or not this has anything to do with metals issues. > I was wondering something. Guest guest
The vitamins are not supposed to have any colors artifical flavors, gluten, etc. Yes they are chewable, not terrible tasting, but not sweet by any stretch. But it definitely seems like somethings going on. Lynn
Guest guest
Lynn, My older son reacted to several of the common multivitamins people list, even though I couldn't find anything " problematic " about them. I guess you know what you see. I eventually gave him separate vits and minerals, but now he is fine on a local brand with a good thorough profile. He is also doing okay on the All-One, so maybe there is something to the claim of easier digestability. .
Guest guest
okay, since I'm so slow on the uptake..what exactly is this all one product. I sort of have to stick with one subject at a time, so I wasn't following that subject very well...is it a total vitamin supplement? lynn
