Vent and the School time...

I just got THE CALL. 's enzymes fell out of his pocket somehow

and was reported to the nurse who informed me that " we just can't

have kids with medicines at their own disposal at school...blah,

blah,blah. " I said something to the effect that I know their concern

was liability, these are a food and not medicine, that we only had a

few weeks until school was out (today is the last day!), I was trying

to spare everyone the hassle because getting the required paperwork

done was amounting to a huge hurdle and we could work it out next

year.

She repeated her " medicine " speech.

Boy, am I hacked. She is just not listening. She is the one who said

it must be written as a prescription on presciption paper. It looks

like I am going to have to just Dana's form and be not-quite-as-

pleasant as I hoped. Drats.

I feel like stomping over there and demanding they provide a GFCF

lunch just for him every day, just to be obnoxious. The only thing is

that would make is hard for the cooks, not her! Now if SHE had to

come up with the lunch, that would be different. Better yet, SHE

would have to EAT it herself.

I am sure I will feel better tomorrow. Maybe I will just homeschool.
