Guest guest
Hi Steve. A quick question... did you say you are on a low dose of tenorim for the MVP? Is that similar to atenolol? My doctor just prescribed 25 mg. atenolol at bedtime for my palpitations and racing heart. I am terrified to take it but have decided to give it a try. I am concerned because I suffer from NMH rather badly and have heard that atenolol will also lower BP - that's the last thing I need at this point. Also, doctor prescribed Valtrex 2000 mg. a day to go after the viral nasties. So, I go from being a very cautios medicine taker to full blown pharmacy in my kitchen. This is the list so far: Doxycycline 200 mg. Valtrex 2000 mg. Atenolol 25 mg. Sporanox ( for the creepy mold thing ) Doxepin 5 mg ( Supposed to help REM sleep ) I am the one with sleep apnea, remember? I looked up Doxepin and it is contraindicated for apnea so I think I will wait on this one until my sleep study on Tuesday. Or , maybe I need to learn to trust my doctor and stop second guessing his every recommendation. Is anyone else this careful and paranoid about medecines prescribed and such? a
