GSSG is the oxidised/used-up form of Glutathione. The reduced/active form is GSH.
Guest guest
Hi Bob. I didn't realize you were also " cured " at some point. I was " cured " twice. Did you notice it was different each time you were sick, or was it the same? The first time I think my problems were mainly the effects of CMV which I had, and the whole thing was pretty mild. Then I had some stomach problems but nothing else for a few years. Then I got really sick again, and this time I had EBV bad, the flu symptoms, and OI. I recovered from that with gamma globulin and who knows what else. I thought I was cured because for about 18 months I didn't have many symptoms and I worked full time. But I did start to get worse. I was able to really improve with antibiotics, heparin, and whey protein. Thought I might have gotten cured again, although at that point I was starting to doubt ever being able to believe I was cured for good. Then I was dumb and got my fillings out and got really sick again, and this time was the worst. This time I suspect due in some part to mercury. But now I have all the classic stage 3 symtpoms, the exhaustion after exertion, not being able to do very much. But fortunately I don't have the flu symptoms unless I push myself too much. So I was just wordering if you had similar ups and downs that you think were caused by different things, or did you have the same symptoms before and after your " remission " . Thanks, Doris ----- Original Message ----- > I wanted to add my two cents on this subject. About 18 months ago when I thought I was " cured " , I was doing many things so I don't know what worked, but I was taking 5 grams of vitamin C a day and no glutathione. I know everyone here has different needs. Bob
