Guest guest
Thank you everyone for your input on this. My Dr ordered the Cyanocobalamin 5000mcg 3x week. I have followed Dr Simpsons theories on the large and mishapen red blood cells of most PWCFS, and they make sense to me. Altho I don't have a biochem bckgrnd, I've been told for years my RBC are too big, and I'm hoping w/ decreased size of RBC's my circulation will improve. I'm cold year round. I'm sort of s'prsed that my Dr is not giving me the B12 trial in max dose, I hope to get something out of it. Thanks again everone for your input. All other thoughts welcome. Best, June
Guest guest
Dear June: Have you considered that your feeling of being cold year round is a classic symptom of dysautonomia which can cause Raynaud's symptoms in the extremities and is something that affects some CFS patients. Also, if you take hydroxycobalamin instead of cyanocobalamin you get the added benefit of neutralizing toxins created by your body and at the same time get the benefits of B-12. Steve B.
