Guest guest
I have found over time that when I really payed attention I could feel stuff still stirring in my throat. I also found that even after 3 days of fasting before having a scope done the GI doctor still found food partials in my throat. I would always try to drink lots of fluids when I eat to help make sure my throat was as clear as possible after eating. I think some people may be able to tell when they have little in the esophagus but others may only notice when food is backed up higher in the esophagus. I am sure there are people here who can tell stories of not noticing until they bent over or tried to sleep. Before I knew what achalasia was, sometimes when I coughed I could cough up a bunch of food without vomiting. I didn't know anything was stuck in my esophagus. It was puzzling. notan
