Guest guest Posted November 24, 2011 Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 Happy Thanksgiving all I found this group about 8 years ago when my then 12 year old daughter was suffering with Achalasia. At the time we had no luck finding a doctor with experience near our home in the northern suburbs of Detroit so we took her to the Cleveland Clinic for diagnosis and treatment. She's enjoyed a mostly normal life since then but still experiences occasional spasms. It's a hassle driving that far for follow-up checkups so I'm again coming to you folks looking for a referral to someone closer.
