Guest guest
Hi I'd like to introduce myself to the group. My name is . I had a Heller Myotomy after a frustrating search for the correct diagnosis about three years ago. This was done by Dr. Salky in Manhattan. I'm currently being seen by Dr. Litwin in Worcester MA. I have continued problems swallowing and horrible night reflux that rears itself on a occassional basis lasting around four or five days. I'm on one of those cycles now The question I'd like to ask is what foods do you avoid to mitigate those problems? I have identified Chocolate, Onions, Garlic, and soda as contributors to these problems as well as tomato sauce (unless I use Marzano's which are less acidic). What else should I try to avoid? I also know about coffee but I dilute mine and it seems ok if I use Green Mt. Dark Roast diluted. Thank you everyone. I have been reading this forum for about a year and thought I'd finally say hello. in MA
