Thanks to both for the suggestions! Yes he had an HM in 2009 and is actually

scheduled to go in for another dilation soon. I hope it's not nerve damage!

There's not a cute for that! I think he's been regular but I will check with him

an try the miralax. He said he actually feels the food bolus hit his stomach and

when it does that's when he gets the pain. Maybe his GI can take a peek while

he's in there :)

Thanks again!

with the Miralax daily, it does diminish the pain a little in my case, being

constipated keeps food from processing properly. I also have nerve damage from

the HM so that causes me pain every time I eat or drink. But if I skip a dose of

Miralax the pain is much worse. Unfortunately, my digestive tract has several

problems from top to bottom. Good luck!!

Hi

I just wanted tell you that my daughter went to the Dr. almost every week

because she was hurting, barely walking, and stooped over. Every time they

checked her belly said it sounds good. She said she would use the restroom and

all was good. No one could figure what was going on until the x-ray. We didn't

know that she should be going a decent amount everyday.

They also said that Miralax in safe to give as much or as little as needed. They

said that it draws water into the bowels  through the intestine. Just thought I

would share as I was skeptical but she is doing better since she started

Miralax.

Hi Shamira-

I remember reading those emails. They broke my heart! How is your daughter

doing? I will definitely try the miralax. Even bough he says he goes every day I

don't check, and it could be that he's just not going enough. Hope all is well

with you :)

Taniea is doing so much better. Her food still sticks but she fights it and it

seems to working for her. Her pain level is down. She still has some better days

and some worse but nothing like before. Thank you for asking.

I hope that they are able to figure out why your son is in so much pain. Good

luck

Shamira and Taniea
