Guest guest
Hi Sorry to hear uou too had such a rough year.  Guess what I have a 16 year old son too, I am here because of him, he has Achalasia.  He was diagnosed beginning of this year and then had HM over his summer break.  By God's grace he is doing fine for now. I will definitely pray for a healthy year for everyone Take Care Priti ________________________________ From: lindsaykite <lindsaykite@...> achalasia Sent: Thursday, December 8, 2011 11:05 PM Subject: Re: I am back-Priti  I agree....bring on 2012!!! 2011 has been a horrible year for health. I don't know you Priti, but I know how you must be feeling. I lost my Dad a few years ago. The year started with me falling down stairs in Feb and badly injuring my ankle. Then I ended up with glass in my eye in June when putting away wine glasses. And finally I got diagnosed with A and had my HM done (along with a huge hiatus hernia fixed and a partial fundo)....and that's just me! My 16 year old dislocated his knees...one in sep and one in oct!!! The medical bills this year have been insane! I hope 2012 is a better year...for all of us! Like there is something in the back of the throat, and it won't go away? Like the back of the tongue to the upper part of the esophagus is numb and sometimes even paralyzed? Has anyone ever had slurred speech, or difficulty saying the G, K, and ing syllables? Food feels like it's stuck the top of the E, about two inches down from the ear lobes? This has been progressively getting worse since about 8 weeks after my heller myotomy with Dr. Luketich. Sometimes it's coffee related but sometimes it just gets worse without coffee. > > What would you do if this happened to you? Help! I thought achalasia was just a problem with food not getting into the stomach. That's a lower E issue. What I have is totally new, it's up at the top, at least from what I can tell. At least I can eat again, I gained 11 pounds in 3 weeks! Everything still works it's just getting slightly more paralyzed every week. I'm starting to freak out because I've never heard of this part of A. > Gunn > >
