Rice and bread were the two earliest trubble foods I had. Several others have

mentioned rice as a post-Heller problem. Maybe the way to go is to home test,

before trying stuff out in public. Seems like the Heller makes a BIG

improvement for most people, but we're never going to be PRE-Achalasia again,

eh? At this point, lol!, I'd gladly settle for improvement. . . .

For me, once the food has reversed, there is no stopping it until it's come back

up. And out. Even reswallowing is pointless.

promising progress. I have noticed that I seem to have neck pain and some

moments of exhaustion. not sure if any of it is caused by the surgery or the

achalasia. With the holidays upon us I have slowly introduced new food to my

diet the trouble is I think I set my self up to have issues with new food as I

am very nervous after having an epic battle with some rice a while ago.(the rice

won). Are there any suggestion's on what is the best way to unstick food that

has become stuck besides retching?
