Stania, I don't take IP, but I do antibiotics. I have had what you are

describing. My was a reappearance of symptoms that I had not had since

initial contagion. I was waking up my " bugs " . You need a better detox

program when this happens. I always called this " herxing " ... which goes with

an active rickettsial infection. Think you've awaken the sleeping giant and

that's good. You can't kill what isn't awake. List all your symptoms from

this " flare " , in the order in which they occur. Keep a diary of this, each

time it happens and after a short period of time... you should have a pattern

emerge. Joint aches and pains come after some other symptom, but before

another. It's helpful in clinical diagnosis of your underlying disease.

Good Luck.

Also, try seaweed paste applied to the lymph areass and then take a mildly

warm bath soak for maybe 30 minutes. You should get instant relief from the

lymph soreness/pain. Ruth

Hi all,

I wanted to share my experience with ImmunePro. I still do not know what to

thing about it, it's a bit strange.

I started with a low dose (1/3 of a scope) and took it for 21 days. I

experienced mild headache and sore throat at the beginning and my energy level

improved. Even my husband noticed I could walk quicklier with no breathing

problems. Great!

Last five days I had GI problems and cramping - I thought it was due to the fact

that I took a supplement containing dried milk (and didn't know about it). Also

gained about 4 pounds. The massages and detox baths helped to get rid of them.

I stopped this supplement and IP too.

I noticed a swelling of certain parts of my body - front and inner part of my

thights. It got a bit better after 4 days without IP. After 6 more days I

decided to start IP again.

The second day on IP the swelling came back and mild joint pain, pain under my

left rib. Again 4 pounds more.

I stopped it again - it was yesterday. I still have some swelling, succeeded to

get rid of 2 pounds, more tired, allergies worse, stillmjoint pain, low grade

fever, no pain under the left rib.

I'd like to know what's going on here, never had this type of edema before and

if it has any connetion to IP (looks like it has but I am not sure and cannot

explain why).

I read with great interest everybody's experience with IP but never noticed

similar problem - am I the only one?

The last day on IP I also felt a sort of " mental fatigue " -sorry, cannot

describe it better, it was different from simple physical fatigue and from the

brain fog.

Thanks for all comments

Stania,

This isn't much but I want to say I understand the " mental fatigue " thing

with IPro. The only way I have been able to get around it is to walk enough

(even if I don't think I can) in the morning. Then that mental fatigue

thing doesn't set in.

The edema is interesting and doesn't sound too wonderful to live with. I

hope someone has answers. I have these hives that couse a general swelling

under the skin. For all of that I do the rebounder altho it is not my

favorite thing to do...

I too have experienced swelling and edema along with gas when I

started experimenting with ImmunoPro. I did not notice if the

swelling was localised in one part of the body. I would gain about 3-

4 pounds, and experience increased fatigue and major herxing. The

weight eventually disappeared. This happened a few times when I was

taking IP alone.

I came to the conclusion that I was not able to tolerate the IP on a

daily basis (even at 1/2 tsp), so have been trying a different regime

with whey. Since Immunocal gave me great results in the past I am on

a 3 day cycle :

1) IP on day 1, now at 1 tsp

2) 1 packet Immunocal in water

3) 1 packet Immunocal in yogurt. I know this is giving me less of a

dose than in water, and will probably phase this out eventually and

go on a 2 day plan. For now it's working !

WIth this regime, have had very good energy, mild herxing and fairly

constant detoxing. I did notice that when I swelled up I seem to

have stopped detoxing, or so I gathered from lack of color/smell of

urine and also from increased herxing symptoms (aches and

headaches).

Hope this helps !

I have had swelling in my face which was eventually relieved after it

suddenly drained out my ear.

I get fever aches when or some other symptom if I take too much. I take only

1/8 of a teaspoon, 1/4 is too much on a steady basis. This stuff is

unbelievable.

Hi and thanks to all who responded to my mail. I feel I can manage it now.

If it is herxing, I do not mind. I'll carefuly find the right dose to keep

herxing going on (on acceptable level). I'll start with a very low dose next

time.

Diary is a good idea. I remember I did it years ago when I suffered from

depression. It is very useful and you can see the progress and the

discovered pattern gave me the feeling I could manage it better. Thanks for

remainding me.

The seaweed paste sounds great but I am afraid they do not have it in local

pharmacies. I am going to search the net.

Your support really helped me to calm down and feel much better!
