Guest guest
Is it just my memory going bad or does anyone else remember when a flavored milk drink was called a " cow? " You just took some milk and added some fruit flavor to make a cow. Not exactly where I am going with this but I was curious if anyone remembers " cows? " Greek yogurt (not sure what it is called outside the US) is popular today and yogurt is used in a lot of smoothies. In some countries milk is almost only given to infants. In some of these places adults mix some yogurt, (what we call Greek yogurt) in water to make a drink that they use like milk. If instead of water you use juice you get a drink that tastes like a yogurt smoothie but is not thick. It just takes two or three, (to taste), spoonfuls of yogurt in a glass of juice. Best to put the yogurt in first and mix the juice in slowly. You can also use flavored drinks. I had some blueberry, cranberry juice that was too sweet and the yogurt makes it better. I guess this is kind of a yogurt cow. If you don't like yogurt you probably won't like these drinks. This is one more way for those who need to add some protein to their diets too easily do it. notan
