I remember black cows (root beer and vanilla ice cream) and purple cows (grape

soda and vanilla ice cream) but not the ones you're describing! They sound good

though. And now I want a black cow :)

Growing up in Chicago, we used " Brown Cow " to refer to a coke and vanilla ice

cream float. Just like a root beer float but with cola instead. I don't remember

what we called the ones with orange soda and vanilla ice cream, but they sure

were good.

We call this a spider!!! My kids and husband have them occasionally, but I have

never been a fan of them.
